Our Dairy Days Story

It all started in 1924…

The citizens of the little ol’ town of Fredericksburg, Iowa came together to celebrate not only their heritage, but the love they had for their dairy community.

Today, the tradition of honoring what built this town and brought people together lives on. 

Dairy Days is a 3 day celebration filled with music, delicious food, carnival rides, a dairy show and more. 

Traditional festivities mixed with some new, crowd-pleasing entertainment helps keep the memory of and interest in Fredericksburg alive. 

This year’s 100th celebration is marked for May 30th, 31st, and June 1st of 2024!
